The TLILIC0040 Licence to Operate a Non-Slewing Mobile Crane course gives you the practical skills and safety knowledge required to operate a non-slewing mobile crane with a rated capacity of more than three tonnes.
Non-slewing mobile cranes including articulated mobile cranes are used across mining, construction, transport, logistics, infrastructure and heavy industry. Completing this nationally recognised course prepares you to work toward obtaining a CN class High Risk Work Licence and take on greater responsibility in the workplace.
What You’ll Learn
This practical, hands on course will teach you how to:
- Plan and prepare for crane operations

Successful completion of TLILIC0040 does not automatically result in the issue of a High Risk Work Licence. Participants must satisfy the eligibility, assessment and licence application requirements of the relevant state or territory regulator. A separate heavy vehicle licence is required to drive an articulated mobile crane on a public road.
